Band Bio

Finding a new and refreshing band that will kick your ass from the first chord to the last cymbal crash doesn’t happen too often but Dead Sea Armada is one of those rare bands that have exploded on stage delivering powerful rock that can make you remember why you love hard rock and metal in the first place. While classic in their guitar driven in your face sound they are still expanding and innovating their sound and the genera of metal and hard rock.  Dead Sea Armada is based out of Parker Colorado and crosses the lines between metal and hard rock in a style that is often described as groove metal – with their deep heavy guitar riffs and fast double bass drumming to the melodic and rhythmic melodies and vocals they are working on bringing metal back to metal heads that actual want to hear lyrics and melodies while getting their face melted.  Gaining a rapidly growing fan base locally, fans are often referred to as being “The Armada” or the “Armada Crew”

The Band

Chris “Chops” Schorger-

Chops is the Dead Sea Armada front man and vocalist. It was on the streets of Saudi Arabia where Chops first heard ‘Hero’ by Mariah Carey and knew from that moment on that music is his life passion. He also cannot eat gluten.

Mac Joiner-

Has been playing guitar forever and is from Parker Colorado. He is diabetic but sells candies and sweets for a living.

Duke-

Duke was born in Fort Worth Texas, moved to New York, then to New Mexico, Montana, Colorado, Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, and back to Colorado.  He mastered the bass at a young age and added a few extra strings just too keep from getting bored.  He also has seizures and asthma.

Chris  Eaton –

Is the driving force behind Dead Sea Armada. Chris’ drumming has been compared to the drumming of Thor -God of Thunder. His musical influences include Motörhead, Blue Öyster Cult, Dëthklok, Fetüs, Mötley Crü, Nicklebäck, and any band whose name starts with ‘anal’. He is also color blind.
